Centerra Gold Inc. (Centerra) and Kumtor Gold Company (KGC) have summed up their operating results in the first quarter of 2019.

On April 2, 2019, a group of Kumtor Ambassadors paid a charity visit to a Bishkek-stationed high school for blind and visually impaired children.

A group of Kumtor employees have taken part in the national volunteer clean-up during which they planted trees in the territory of the orphanage Meerim Bulagy located in Issyk-Kul province and in Junusaliyeva Street in Bishkek. The event was organized under the Kumtor Ambassadors corporate program.

Tien Shan spruces have decorated the alley within the grounds of the Bishkek boarding school No.1 named after A. Kanimetov. The trees were planted by employees of KGC Procurement & Logistics during the tree planting event held on March 23.

Basic Operating and Financial Results At the Kumtor Mine gold production in 2018 was 534,563 ounces1 or 16,626.78 kg. Gold sales in 2018 were 530,448 ounces1 or 16,498.79 kg with a revenue totaling $660.1 million2.

Four new greenhouses began to supply vegetables to Issyk-Kul social institutions in 2018 under the Karagat + Project and with the support of Kumtor Gold Company.

Two felt production facilities opened in Tamga and Tilekmat villages of Jeti-Oguz District on February 27, 2019. Production facilities were launched as part of the local community empowerment project, implemented jointly with the ‘One Village One Product’ Association (OVOP) and funded by Kumtor Gold Company (KGC).

KGC employees held a charity event ‘Kid, You Will Survive!’ dedicated to the World Cancer Day commemorated on February 4 each year.
