On the eve of the International Day of People with Disabilities, Kumtor Gold Company lent support to communities and organizations that unite people with disabilities in Issyk-Kul and Chui oblasts of Kyrgyzstan.

The Company purchased about 150 food packages for members of the Tokmok Training and Production Enterprise of the Kyrgyz Association of Blind and Deaf and the Alamudun Association of Blind and Deaf, as well as purchased necessary household appliances for the Sokuluk Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Disabilities, Including Children with Disabilities.

Food packages and household appliances were delivered to the recipients by volunteers – company employees. The Ak-Suu Inclusive Center ‘Kyialkech’ with the support of KGC will purchase necessary furniture and books. More than 250 members of various Balykchy communities received warm plaid blankets from the Company.
