On October 7, 2017, a group of employees of Kumtor Gold Company’s Compliance and Project Department provided aid to Bishkek-based National Boarding School for hearing-impaired and late-onset deaf children No. 21 by carrying out a volunteer clean-up.
At the request of the school administration, they painted the children’s playground and purchased building materials to insulate and make sound-proof the partition between a classroom and the neighboring utility room, which is planned to be converted into a classroom due to the lack of study premises.
National Boarding School for hearing-impaired and late-onset deaf children No. 2 accommodates currently a total of 290 children.
