Employees of Balykchy Marshalling Yard Extend Season’s Greetings to Employees and Visitors of Day Care Center for the Elderly
On December 25, 2019, employees of Kumtor Gold Company’s Marshalling Yard in Balykchy visited the Day Care Center for the Elderly with a charity mission. Employees of the Marshalling Yard raised funds and organized a festive dinner for the patients of the Center. In addition, Kumtor employees helped improve the Center’s territory to provide a comfortable rest for the elderly.
Manager of the Marshalling Yard in Balykchy Jyldyz Raimkulova said, “The elderly often face numerous physical and psychological difficulties. It becomes difficult for them to take care of themselves; they need comprehensive support and care. That is why we try to arrange such events on a regular basis.”
The Day Care Center for the Elderly opened in Balykchy of Issyk-Kul Oblast in 2008. Its employees provide social, legal, psychological aid and nursing services to the senior citizens.
Kumtor Gold Company provides jobs for over 4000 people.
