NTS: Urgently established working commission visited Kumtor mine

Urgently established working commission visited Kumtor mine. Experts were tasked to identify the possible environmental damage as a result of the waste rock dump movement. Mass of stones and ice has the speed of more than one and a half meters per day. However the representatives of the Gold Mining Company said that this movement was predicted. A member of the Commission, the head of the State Agency on Geology and Mineral Resources, Ishenbay Chunuev, had analyzed the situation at the mine and concluded that there is no environmental disaster.
