A new training session will be held by the Regional Information Center of Kumtor Operating Company on February 16, 2012, at Barskoon for Jety-Oguz and Ton communities. The seminar will focus on the building of livestock business and livestock disease prevention.
Trainers for the seminars will be selected from among the representatives of the Issyk-Kul Agricultural Advisory Service Public Fund. The action will provide the participants with details of livestock fattening, nutrient budgets and practical use of veterinary drugs and growth-promoting factors.
In the next six months, livestock fattening and disease prevention will be among the subjects of seminars held by the Business Advisory Service (BAS). Under this program, various experts will train local residents in handicraft and farming innovations. The training seminars are conducted by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in cooperation with Kumtor Operating Company and are designed to improve the economic potential of the region and launch sustainable development projects.
Detailed information about the seminars and registration procedures can be obtained from the officers of the KOC Regional Information Center. Participation in the EBRD seminars and all kinds of services offered by the Center to the communities will be free of charge.
