KGC Information Center Moved to Kyzyl-Suu, Jety-Oguz District

Since April 2015, the Regional Information Center of Kumtor Gold Company for the Jety-Oguz District will be based in the premises of the Kyzyl-Suu Village Administration. The Center is open to visitors Monday through Friday from 9.00 till 17.00.

Public relations are seen by Kumtor Gold Company as one of the most important channels of communication with regional communities. Its previous location at Barskoon was found inconvenient as it was far removed from most communities, residents being forced to travel a long distance to get to the Center. In response to public requests, the Company has decided to relocate the Center to the district center.

For Reference: To improve communications between the Company’s Head Office and Issyk-Kul residents, three Information Centers were opened in Balykchi, Ton and Jety-Oguz Districts. The Regional Information Centers are designed to provide true information to local communities about the activities of Kumtor Gold Company. The Company’s reports and publications, information on the Company’s contribution to the Districts’ development, on hiring and human resources policies as well as on current vacancies are available in these Centers. All services are provided by the Centers free of charge.
