AMBASSADOR NICHOLAS BOWLER HAS VISITED KUMTOR MINE OPERATIONS

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Kyrgyz Republic, Nicholas Bowler, familiarized himself with the operations of the Kumtor Mine.

As part of His site familiarization visit, the diplomat visited the Central Pit and toured key production facilities of the Kumtor Mine that ensure continuous, 24/7 operation throughout the year. In particular, he reviewed the heavy duty equipment repair workshop and the gold processing plant.

Following the visit, Nicholas Bowler noted the high level of organization of production processes at the Kumtor Mine and expressed confidence that the enterprise operates steadily and has promising development projects.
