Between 2021 and 2025, Kumtor’s total revenue amounted to US$5.115 billion, which exceeds 440 billion soms. This was announced today by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Zhaparov, at a republican meeting held at Yntymak Ordo.

US$1.176 billion (more than 100 billion soms) was paid to the budget in the form of taxes and mandatory payments.

While only US$100 million has been transferred as dividends from Kumtor since 1994, this amount has reached US$441 million (about 38 billion soms) over the past four years.

Kumtor has become a stable source of income for Kyrgyzstan, serving to finance social obligations and infrastructure projects.

This historic decision has become a significant step towards strengthening our country’s economic independence.
