Board members of Kumtor Gold Company held an off-site meeting, which included a visit to the Balykchy Marshalling Yard to review the progress of its modernization.


The facility has expanded its fuel storage capacity, new asphalt and sidewalks have been laid, benches installed, and the surrounding area improved. Particular attention was given to the working and rest conditions of employees, including drivers delivering cargo to the Mine.

Board members also visited the Kumtor Mine to review the ongoing operations. Heads of structural divisions presented updates on the current production processes, the fulfillment of previously set tasks and the key objectives for the mid-term. Discussions also addressed the issues of production efficiency, occupational safety and modernization.
