About emergency situation at Sary-Moinok

On September 29th at 17:00, a group of six people, consisting of four alpinist-contractors, a communication contractor, and a staff member of KGC company, commenced the descent from the Sary Moinok Microwave Station after regular seasonal maintenance.
An avalanche occurred in front of them and two Alpinists have been caught in the slide. Rescue Teams from Karakol and Bishkek were organized and dispatched to the base of the Sary Moinok and a rescue operation has commenced. KGC has notified the Ministry of the Emergency Situations and relevant authorities about the incident and updates will be forthcoming.
