Kumtor sponsored the premiere performance of the National Philharmonic artists in Karakol

In Karakol, a concert of the artists of the Toktogul Satylganov National Philharmonic was held on the stage of the regional theater with the support of Kumtor Gold Company. The musical show called “Through difficulties to the happiness” was presented to spectators. The guests also brought an art exhibition to the regional center of the Issyk-Kul region.

According to Production Director Altynbek Maksutov, the people of Kyrgyzstan is lack of spiritual development, and the fact that the government and Kumtor is actively helping the cultural area provides a great incentive for the creative growth of artists as well.

“I would like to thank Tengiz Bolturuk for inviting us to show our performance in Issyk-Kul. We had been preparing for this performance for over a month.  The play “Through difficulties to the happiness” is a kind lyrical comedy that tells the true story of one family, but in fact, of the whole country. This is a story about each of us, about what makes a person happy. I think to be a happy person, you should love your country, traditions and family”, added Altynbek Maksutov.

The performance with the participation of the famous akyn Aaly Tutkuchev was a full house, and presented the spectators vivid, unforgettable emotions. At the end, the artists were greeted with thunderous applause.

“We realize the importance of culture for our country. Today, Kumtor Gold Company actively supports projects in the field of culture and art. Unfortunately, the regional population have almost forgotten the way to the theatres. Therefore, we will continue to support such activities throughout the country, make them available for the people” said Tengiz Bolturuk, Board Chairman of the “Great Nomads Heritage” National Holding Company, which manages KGC.

Altynbek Sulaimanov, KR President’s Plenipotentiary Representative in the Issyk-Kul region, greeted the organizers, artists and the spectators. “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Kumtor and Tengiz Bolturuk for organizing this wonderful concert. There is no nation without culture. It is culture that brings up the spiritual qualities of a person. There should be as many such cultural events as possible”, said the head of the region.
