The world will be celebrating the World Environment Day on June 5. Environment protection and biodiversity conservation have always been and remain the priority areas of our Company’s activities in Kyrgyzstan. The Sarychat-Eertash nature reserve was established in 1995 through the active involvement and support from Kumtor Gold Company, Kyrgyz government, international financial and environmental institutions. The new documentary, “Animals of Ak-Shyirak” , tells about the today’s life of the reserve, as well as about environmental plans and measures taken by KGC.
