State Tax Service confirmed the absence of any violations of tax legislation by Kumtor Gold Company

The State Tax Service’s Office for Control of Large Taxpayers in Bishkek and Chui oblast has completed another on-site routine inspection of Kumtor Gold Company’s compliance with the tax legislation for the period from January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2015. Taking into account the procedure and time for decision-making, appealing and execution of some of the issues set forth by the tax legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, the tax inspection has not found any violations of tax legislation during the specified period.

For information: The State Tax Service’s Office for Control of Large Taxpayers in Bishkek and Chui oblast is a tax authority, fully administering tax legal relations with Kumtor Gold Company. Kumtor Gold Company is a concession company and a major taxpayer, carrying out its activities and paying taxes and mandatory payments on the basis of the Agreement on New Terms and Conditions of Kumtor Project Implementation, dated April 24, 2009, ratified by Jogorku Kenesh and the Tax Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, to the extent not regulated by the Agreement.
