Kumtor Company employees took part in the event organized by Green Foundation

On April 19, 2017, Kumtor Company employees took part in the traditional tree planting event organized by non-profit Green Foundation. This year’s event took place in the territory of kindergarten No. 182, Kok-Jar neighborhood in Bishkek.
Green Foundation, a non-profit organization, was founded in 2012 by Kyrgyz Investment and Credit Bank (KICB), supported by the Foundation “Initiative of Roza Otunbaeva”, the Aga Khan Development Network, Kumtor Company and the City Hall of Bishkek. The main purpose of the Foundation is to maintain parks in the Kyrgyz Republic and call the younger generation’s attention to nature conservation problems.
Kumtor Gold Company provides jobs for over 4000 people.
99 percent of the Company full-time employees are Kyrgyz citizens, and this proportion is ever growing as the result of foreign managerial personnel being gradually replaced by national employees.
